Graduates from Canada
Students who have graduate from a university or college from anywhere in Canada may qualify under this category. The individual must have passed his Masterâ€™s or Ph.D. from a recognized college or university in Canada. Once they complete their course, they can apply for a permanent residency under under the education or skilled worker category or even a provincial nominee scheme. Once they have their permanent residency they can apply for a citizenship after living in the country for 1,095 days in total. To be eligible, their permanent residency should not be in question and they should also be able to communicate well in either French or English, the major languages spoken in Canada. They also need to show a sound knowledge of Canada and should not have any kind of criminal history. Once a Canadian citizen, the individual is also able to sponsor their spouse, common-law partner or child for a Canadian permanent residency.
